About The Band

Considering all of the gold, platinum and R&R Hall of Fame bands that these guys are former and current members of, we can safely say that you've definitely seen or heard one or more of them at some point, either in concert, on TV, or on a CD or DVD. For over 25 years the members of The Kings Of Classic Rock have played for many of the great legends in rock, both in concert and in the studio.

They've toured and/or recorded with bands such as Iron Butterfly, The Animals, Kenny Loggins, The Fixx, Paul Revere and The Raiders, Vanilla Fudge, Meatloaf, Percy Sledge, Lita Ford, Spencer Davis, Julian Lennon, Gary Myrick and The Figures, Loverboy, Buddy Miles, Manhattan Transfer, Thelma Houston, Sugarloaf, Cock Robin, Bobby Kimball and Simon Phillips (Toto), The British Rock Symphony, Brand X, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Robbie Krieger (The Doors), Eddie Van Halen, Steve Lukather (Toto), Brian Auger, Roger Hodgson (Supertramp), Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band), Trevor Rabin (Yes), Walter Trout, and more.

The Kings Of Classic Rock met while playing for Eric Burdon and The Animals, and a strong musical bond was forged. After years of very successful worldwide touring, the guys felt that somehow they had to stay together rather than go their separate ways and end up playing as hired guns for other artists as they had done for so many years.

Based out of Los Angeles, CA, The Kings Of Classic Rock was created to play the very best songs from each of their former bands plus many great covers of other classics and create an irresistible set, as much fun to listen to as it is for them to play, and make it appealing to anyone who is a fan of rock music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s!.

In addition to lots of touring, you've seen and heard them with their previous bands on numerous VH1 and MTV music videos, VH1 documentaries "Storytellers" and "Behind The Music", PBS music specials, concert DVDs and many music CDs.

Besides their work in bands, members of The Kings Of Classic Rock have also written for and/or played on many TV and major movie soundtracks. Film credits include productions by Disney Films, New World Pictures, Miramax, Paramount, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Television productions include The Grammy Awards, Larry King and multiple programs produced by NBC, ABC, FOX, The Playboy Channel, and A&E.

With all this combined experience in front of an infinite variety of audiences, The Kings Of Classic Rock know how to deliver an entertaining, dynamic and powerful performance packed with hit after hit. The band was put together with the intention of being the ultimate classic rock band, and they are guaranteed to leave a great, unforgettable impression at corporate events, festivals and concert showrooms.

"The band delivered beautifully to our "40 Year Anniversary of Woodstock" theme. And thanks again for singing Happy Birthday to Thomas Greuel. You exceeded our expectations! Beautifully done." Bruce Neckels Chairman, SCCC/CBS Fireworks Festival -Bruce N, Studio City, CA

"What a great band! This group is extremely professional, and VERY talented. We used them for a group of executives for a "Rock the Park" theme, and the event turned out amazing. The group absolutely loved this band - and their song list! Many attendees said it was "really bringing them back..." We had a blast! I can't recommend this band enough!" -- Jacee B, Henderson, NV

"I would recommend The Kings Of Classic Rock to anyone that asked for my opinion. I couldn't have asked for a better band to play at my event. They were more then accommodating to all my requests; they even took the time to learn some songs that were requested of them. They listened to all my needs and were even willing to visit the location a month in advance to make certain we had all our bases covered. I received numerous compliments from my guests on how good the band sounded; one guest even noted that they sounded just like the band Pink Floyd. I couldn't have been more pleased with their performance." -- Sheila W, Long Beach, CA

"What a blast! KOCR took our event to a whole 'nother level. They have the coolest song list. . no filler songs at all, just great song after great song. They were very professional to deal with, were really friendly and accomodating and most of all. . .they sounded fantastic and were really FUN! We had people ranging in ages from mid 20s to early 60s and everybody really loved them." -- Hugh J, San Clemente, CA

"KOCR rocked my wedding! I found them by recommendation of a friend and they didn't disappoint. I wanted some specific 80's songs from my youth and they learned 7 of them. They even added a female singer who nailed the Pretenders and Fleetwood Mac. I swear it was more like an arena show or something. I had been worried about them coordinating with the DJ, but they all worked it out beautifully. Now let's see if I can work out a deal with them for a Christmas party!!" -- Steven G, Hollywood, CA
